Paul’s Parents, Harold & Nancy Roberts started the irrigation business in 1957. Paul’s mother was an engineering graduate of Purdue University and did all the technical drawings and blueprints for their irrigation products while Harold (Hal) did the selling. Pipe were delivered by pulling a trailer behind the family vehicle. Paul got his start at an early age part-time sweeping and puttering in the shop. This was followed by his working summers in the parts department and with drilling crews in the field. After earning a bachelors degree in Economics in 1979 Paul started full time in sales and design at the company. Paul’s parents, and as a result Paul always had the philosophy that once you gained a Customer you tried your utmost to keep that Customer forever by providing the best products and especially the best service possible. As of today, we work with many second or third generation on the farm. Irrigation has seen many changes and Roberts Irrigation has kept up with the changes in farming. Technology has recently blossomed and Roberts Irrigation is a leader in introducing new products from many suppliers. New high-tech drilling rigs have been added that have the ability to drill in just about any aquifer without using damaging drilling fluids and mud while achieving the best results possible. We have used our expertise in pumps and fluid design to help Customers in bulk material handling for dust suppression, dewatering of projects and environmental cleaning solutions.
I have been with Roberts Irrigation since 2017. My background is in accounting, passing the CPA exam more years ago than I care to tell you. The emphasis in my job is creating a team environment that allows each and every person to add value to both the customer as well to Roberts Irrigation. Taking care of the customer’s needs to the best of our ability as well as each other will not only creating long-term relationship for Roberts Irrigation and each customer but also for each person that is part of our family.
Sales and Design
I have been with Roberts Irrigation since 2008 where I started as a field technician. Beginning on the Cranberry side, I mastered my trade and moved into a sales and design position in 2013. Since then, I've been assisting our customers with cranberry marshes, solid set, arenas, log pile irrigation, coal dust, Mining, sports fields, drip irrigation, lawn systems, Variety of automation, pumps and HDPE products.
Luke Abbrederis has been with Roberts Irrigation for a little over a year now as a Sales and Design Representative. He focuses mostly on pivot sales but is always happy to help customers with the planing of their plumbing and electrical needs as well as selecting the appropriate pumps/ motors for their specific application. Luke enjoys seeing his customers being more successful because of their working relationship with Roberts Irrigation.
John has been working for Roberts Irrigation in design and irrigation sales since February of 2013. The focus of most of his work revolves around high capacity wells, center pivot irrigation, and control integration. However, he also aids in the design of drip irrigation, traveler irrigation, and manure/waste application. John enjoys taking on new challenges and helping the customer come to the most efficient solution.
I have been with Roberts Irrigation since January of 1996 and am based out of our Bloomer location. My main focus was on service work the first few years and in recent years have taken on the tasks of system design and sales as the company has grown.
My name is Dave Baird I have been with Robert's Irrigation since June of 1998, I built center pivots, repaired storm damaged pivots and assisted with well drilling until 2017 when I became the service coordinator. I live in Bancroft Wi and have been married for fifteen years. We have two wonderful children. My goal at Robert's Irrigation is to create a quality customer experience.
